Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver therapeutic mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to help clients effectively manage their mental health challenges.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments that identify each client's individual stressors, challenges, and treatment goals, thus tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises such as meditation, focused breathing techniques, and self-reflection practices to enhance self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops designed to teach mindfulness, stress management, and resilience-building strategies, promoting a shared learning experience among clients.

• Integrate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns while supporting clients on their journey toward personal well-being.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and healthcare providers, ensuring coordination of care and integration of mindfulness practices into comprehensive treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, including mindfulness interventions and treatment adjustments, using our electronic health record system.

Your work will primarily focus on supporting individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• A current, valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of integrating mindfulness into therapeutic methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills that foster a calming and supportive therapeutic environment for clients.
