Phlebotomist
needed for a contract
opportunity with Yoh's primary care client located in Groton, CT.
This clinic provides pediatric-adult care, ages 2+. Seeking a phlebotomist to perform routine blood draws, provide assistance with lab procedures, and route labs as appropriate.


Schedule:
Mon/Tues/Thurs 6:45a-6:15p

Duration:
3 months with possible extension or direct placement

Pay: $19-26/hr


What You'll Be Doing:

• Works independently and in accordance with safety and organizational policies and procedures
• Assists with supply inventory
• May instruct phlebotomy procedure for new employees
• Understands and abides by all of industry standards and infection control guidelines and safety procedures; Knowledge of use of SDS material and emergency equipment in facility
• Proficient in phlebotomy skills, specimen collection, processing and assessing vital signs for patients
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Active national certification in Phlebotomy
• BLS upon hire
