HANDEDLY is hiring dependable, detail-oriented professional cleaners to provide premium residential cleaning services in luxury homes throughout Manhattan & Brooklyn.

The ideal candidate has at least one to two years of professional cleaning experience — hotel housekeeping or luxury gym/spa hospitality background is a BIG PLUS — along with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to excellent client service. This is a 1099 independent contractor role: you set your own availability and choose which client jobs to accept.

Pay & Benefits

• $25–$50/hour take-home (base pay + 100% of client tips)
• Paid within 36 hours of job completion
• Flexible scheduling — choose the jobs and hours that work for you
• Guaranteed pay for client cancellations or lockouts inside the 24-hour window

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality residential cleaning to client standards
• Use provided checklists as a guide for each home
• Show up for accepted appointments as scheduled
• Communicate professionally with clients and the Handedly team
• Flag any issues, booking-wise or damage right away
• Treat every client and home with care and respect

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of residential, hospitality, or commercial cleaning experience
• Authorized to legally work in the U.S.
• Comfortable working around dogs and cats, including pet hair cleanup
• Smartphone with internet access and camera
• Cleaning equipment and supplies (starter kit guidance available for those transitioning from hotel/gym roles where equipment was provided)
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, good time management and communication skills
• Able to pass a background check
• 1 professional reference
