Physical Therapist
An opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist at an outpatient clinic in Silt, Colorado. This position has been created due to an increase in patient volume, with a focus on reducing wait times by expanding the rehabilitation staff.
As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients and develop as well as implement tailored treatment plans for various diagnoses. Your primary objective will be to enhance patients' strength, range of motion (ROM), balance, safety, and overall function. Additionally, you will educate patients and their caregivers on effective home exercise programs.
Schedule
- Working four 10-hour days per week, with flexible scheduling.
- Enjoy three days off each week to explore the beautiful mountainous surroundings.
Housing Opportunity
Newly remodeled studio apartments are available just a short walk from the outpatient clinic, offering convenient housing options for traveling professionals. These units come fully furnished and include Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry facilities. Please note that pets are not allowed, and there is no deposit required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current Colorado PT licensure or a compact license for Colorado.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the field; 3-5 years preferred.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Mandatory flu vaccination from October 1st to April 1st, with no declinations accepted.
Shift Information
- Four 10-hour days per week, with variable days.
- No weekend shifts required.
- Holiday coverage may be required.
Minimum Years of Experience
2 years of relevant experience is required.
Certifications / Requirements
- BLS/BCLS certification is mandatory.
