Scrum Master (SAFe Agile + Project Management Experience)

Job Title Scrum Master (SAFe Agile + Project Management Experience) Location NYC, NY / Clinton, NJ Experience 6+ Years Domain Insurance (Mandatory – Preference for Life Insurance) Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with strong SAFe Agile and project management expertise to lead Agile delivery within the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate must demonstrate hands‑on experience working in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment , driving Agile best practices, and ensuring successful project delivery. Preference will be given to candidates with Life Insurance domain knowledge Key Responsibilities Act as a Scrum Master in a SAFe Agile environment , facilitating all Scrum ceremonies Support Agile Release Train (ART) activities including PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops Ensure adherence to SAFe Agile principles and frameworks across team Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, and stakeholders to manage backlogs and priorities Remove impediments and foster a high‑performing Agile team environment . Apply project management practices including planning, tracking, risk management, and reporting Manage cross‑team dependencies within SAFe programs. Track and report Sprint and PI progress, risks, and delivery metrics Drive continuous improvement and Agile maturity across teams. Ensure delivery aligns with business objectives and regulatory standards within the insurance domain Required Qualifications 6+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years as a Scrum Master Mandatory experience working in SAFe Agile environments Strong experience in project handling and Agile delivery Insurance domain experience is mandatory, preferable Life Insurance Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and SAFe Framework Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile reporting tools Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Practitioner, or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) (Highly preferred).
