Imagine This

A new production cell needs power and controls. You review the single-line, confirm loads, run conduit, pull conductors, and bring the system online—safely. Later, a distribution fault trips a feeder; you isolate the issue, repair a damaged conductor, document the fix, and coach the team on prevention. Before clocking out, you update records, tidy the shop, and plan tomorrow’s upgrades. That’s impact.

Your Mission

• Install electrical systems for new construction and expansion projects across the facility.
• Troubleshoot power, lighting, control circuits, and equipment to determine root causes of electrical distribution failures.
• Upgrade and modify existing systems, components, and related equipment to improve reliability.
• Repair damaged electrical equipment, conduit, and conductors; contribute to broader company objectives as needed.
• Champion safety and safe work habits in every task.
• Immediately notify supervision of faulty machines or defective materials.
• Model and uphold Ashley’s Core and Growth Values in all work.
• Respond to requests to troubleshoot machinery and equipment.
• Perform minor maintenance and complete routine recordkeeping.
• Operate machine shop tools—saws, grinders, drills—and verify work meets specifications.
• Work from shop drawings, blueprints, sketches, work orders, and verbal instructions.
• Keep work and shop areas clean and orderly.

What You Need to BringRequired

• Valid state electrician license (Journeyman or Master), in good standing.
• 3–5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience with distribution, motor controls, and lighting.
• Proven ability to work safely on systems from 120V through 480V.
• Strong reading of schematics, wiring diagrams, one-lines, and control logic diagrams.

Preferred

• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and BMS platforms.
• Background in manufacturing or large facilities, including conveyors and production machinery.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
