Job OverviewThis role serves as a key finance partner to Indirect Procurement and Supply Chain leaders, providing financial insight, governance, and decision support across indirect spend categories. The Sr. Fin Analyst will help drive cost transparency, sourcing value realization, and disciplined financial planning while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across DePuy Synthes operations. This is an opportunity to influence strategic sourcing decisions, strengthen financial controls, and support a growing, standalone orthopedics organization.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strong financial leadership and business partner support to Indirect Procurement and Supply Chain stakeholders to provide financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across indirect spend categories.Analyze procurement savings, productivity initiatives, and contract value realization, ensuring alignment with financial commitments.Support annual budget, quarterly forecast, and long‑range plan processes for indirect procurement and related supply chain functions.Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor spend, savings, and cost drivers.Provide financial governance and variance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities and recommending corrective actions.Collaborate cross‑functionally with Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to support sourcing decisions and supplier negotiations.Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, controls, and reporting standards.Support continuous improvement initiatives by driving standardization, automation, and enhanced financial transparency.QualificationsEducationRequired: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.Preferred: MBA, Master’s degree, or equivalent advanced financial training.Experience and SkillsRequired:Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, supply chain finance, or procurement finance.Experience supporting indirect procurement, sourcing, or supply chain cost structures.Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.Result & performance driven: assumes full ownership and accountability for delivering resultsSense of urgency: ability to identify, prioritize, and execute work/project plansAbility to work under time pressure while keeping a high level of qualityDemonstrated ability to partner with cross‑functional stakeholders and influence business decisions.Must possess excellent analytical skills and presentation skillsProficiency with financial systems, ERP tools, and advanced Excel or analytics platforms.Preferred:Experience in a regulated or manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, life sciences).Familiarity with strategic sourcing, supplier contracts, and savings tracking methodologies.Experience supporting transformation or cost‑productivity initiatives.Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.OtherLanguage: English (required).Travel: Up to 10%, primarily domestic.Certifications: CPA, CMA, or similar financial certification preferred but not required.For more information on how we support the whole health of our employees throughout their wellness, career and life journey, please visit .Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
