Comcare Support Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to serve as our Clinical Team Lead , providing leadership, clinical oversight, and high‐quality behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and adults.
We are a mission‐driven, trauma‐informed behavioral health agency committed to excellence, compassion, and expanding access to care. We’re looking for a strong clinician who can lead with integrity, support staff development, and help grow our programs and community impact.
Accepted Licenses: LPC, LPC‐S, LCSW, LCSW‐S
Location: Texas (must hold an active Texas license)
Schedule: Full‐time; includes some evenings and required weekend supervision
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Assessments — Conduct mental health evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment recommendations.
- Team Leadership — Lead, mentor, and clinically support a team of QMHPs, case managers, and skills trainers.
- Supervision & Oversight — Provide clinical supervision, including evening and weekend supervision and documentation review .
- Policy & Quality Improvement — Strengthen clinical policies, ensure compliance, and support continuous quality improvement.
- Community Networking — Build referral relationships with schools, hospitals, shelters, and community agencies.
- Program Development — Support service expansion and clinical program enhancement.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas license as LPC, LPC‐S, LCSW, or LCSW‐S
- Experience conducting mental health assessments
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Clinical Director , Lead Clinician , or LPHA Supervisor
- Experience in community‐based mental health
- Familiarity with Medicaid documentation standards
