Job duties include:Read and work from work orders, blueprints, route sheets, and supervisor instructionsSet up welding equipment, fixtures, and positioners per specificationsWeld metal components using wire-feed welding equipment according to layouts, diagrams, and proceduresAdjust amperage and voltage to ensure quality welds at optimal speedProduce simple to complex weldments, including regular and irregular designsWeld in flat, horizontal, and vertical positionsEnsure proper fit, alignment, and dimensional accuracy using fixtures and clampsGuide the welding gun to achieve correct fusion, bead size, and weld qualityClean and prepare weld joints using wire brushes, grinders, or chemical methodsCut metal plates or structural shapes using an oxy/acetylene torch when neededPay: $23.04/hr Shift: 1st shift Hours: 6:00 am - 4:30 pmWhy work for Advance Services, Inc.Advance Services is for and about people; we are your employment specialists.
