SaaS Implementation & Integration Specialist

Salary: $60,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements:

• We hold a bachelors degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field.
• We bring 1 to 2 years of experience in SaaS implementation, application support, systems integration, business systems analysis, or quality assurance.
• We have practical experience with SQL and relational databases.
• We understand REST APIs, JSON, XML, authentication methods, and system integration concepts.
• We have used API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• We have experience with UAT, integration testing, workflow validation, and defect documentation.
• We can review application logs, exceptions, and error messages to support troubleshooting.
• We have strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• We can explain software and integration concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• We can manage multiple implementation activities, deadlines, and client priorities.
• Preferred: we have experience implementing or supporting SaaS applications.
• Preferred: we have experience in FinTech, payment technology, higher education software, or Student Information Systems.
• Preferred: we are familiar with systems such as Ellucian Banner, Ellucian Colleague, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Workday Student, or Anthology Student.
• Preferred: we have experience with payment processors, financial integrations, or transaction-based platforms.

• We manage the technical implementation and configuration of our SaaS payment solutions.
• We gather and document client business, functional, data, and integration requirements.
• We translate client needs into configuration specifications and implementation tasks.
• We configure application settings, workflows, payment options, user permissions, and related platform functionality.
• We coordinate implementation work from kickoff through testing, launch, and post-launch stabilization.
• We support integrations between our platform and Student Information Systems, ERP platforms, payment processors, and other third-party applications.
• We review and validate API requests and responses using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• We assist with field mapping, data validation, file specifications, authentication requirements, and integration workflows.
• We verify that data is transmitted, received, processed, and posted correctly across connected systems.
• We develop and execute test cases for application workflows and system integrations.
• We coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing and end-to-end testing with clients.
• We identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects and configuration issues.
• We validate fixes and confirm that integrations and application workflows operate as intended.
• We maintain clear records of test results, outstanding issues, and implementation decisions.
• We investigate application, configuration, database, and integration-related issues.
• We review application logs, error messages, exceptions, API responses, and transaction data to identify likely causes.
• We resolve configuration and functional issues where possible and escalate software defects or complex technical matters to Engineering.
• We provide Engineering with reproduction steps, supporting data, log details, and business impact.
• We prepare implementation guides, process documentation, and client training materials.
• We conduct training sessions for client administrators and users.
• We support clients during testing, launch, and post-launch stabilization.
• We respond to implementation questions and ensure clients understand the configured workflows and system functionality.
• We establish implementation milestones, deliverables, responsibilities, and target launch dates.
• We coordinate activities across clients, Implementation, Account Management, Product, Engineering, and Support.
• We monitor progress, identify risks, and follow up on outstanding actions.
• We provide Product and Engineering teams with structured client feedback and recommendations for platform improvements.
