The role supports the Senior Manager of IT SOX Compliance to strengthen NVIDIA’s internal control environment over financial reporting (ICFR). It involves collaborating with IT and accounting/finance groups to evaluate and build efficient business and IT controls that mitigate financial reporting risk.What you'll be doing:Plan, scope, and implement the end-to-end SOX 404 lifecycle, including walkthroughs, risk-control matrices, testing, deficiency evaluation, remediation, and reporting.Partner with process owners to assess risks in new and changing business processes,-identify the key IT controls, and build out narrative, flowchart and control description.Drive continuous improvement and automation by seeking opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate controls, reducing operational friction while maintaining control effectiveness.Provide guidance and training to control owners to promote awareness and understanding of SOX compliance requirements.Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, and ensure a seamless, efficient audit process.Coach testers, apply AI tools, perform detailed review of control testing and provide guidance and feedback to ensure quality.Participate in operational audits and projects as required.What we need to see:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or Master’s degree or equivalent experience or CPA/CIA/CISA preferred.5+ years in Big 4 and/or large public company environments with hands-on SOX and internal audit experience.Strong knowledge of GAAP, COSO, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Demonstrated critical thinking and curiosity capabilities. Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment, while balancing practical and theory-based solutions.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Semiconductor industry experience a plus.Ability to get results, including influencing business process owners and organizational change.Understanding of IT General Controls, familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) auditing standards, using AI tools, and SAP S4 Hana experience, a plus.Widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
