Must-Have: Need to be certified in MLT/MLS either ASCP or AMT. Must have a valid state license as MLT or MLS. Generalist skills are required. Experience in a larger lab with high throughput is needed. Familiarity with LIS systems such as Polytech, Avalon, Orchard Software, Apollo, Prolis, BioTracer, etc. is a must.

Description: The position requires coverage for microbiology and clinical laboratory areas. Duties include hematology, coagulation, chemistry, and urinalysis in the clinical lab along with some processing. The laboratory setup includes the Vitros 7600 and AU480 for chemistry analysis. Hematology analysis is conducted using DXH800, CA2500 for coagulation, and Iris Workcell for urinalysis. Microbiology duties involve using Microscan, Cepheid, Verigene, and MDX systems. Performing phlebotomy is a plus, as support with morning rounds and outpatient overflow may be required. Weekend shifts are expected every other weekend, with the option to work every weekend. Holiday requirements are included in the schedule. Self-scheduling and block scheduling options are available. No specific scrub color or dress code is assigned. The position does not require being on call or standby.
