This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, analyzing variances, and helping ensure compliance with GAAP standards. What You’ll Be Doing As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will support financial reporting, account analysis, reconciliations, and budgeting processes while partnering with leadership and operational teams across the organization. Financial Reporting – Prepare, review, and analyze monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts. Variance Analysis – Review divisional financial statements, analyze budget versus actual variances, and provide reporting insights. Fixed Asset Management – Maintain fixed asset records and process disposals, depreciation, and related journal entries. General Ledger Oversight – Assist with financial analysis, account reclassifications, and resolving unusual or incorrect entries. Budgeting & Forecasting – Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities across departments. Cost Allocation – Maintain accurate inter‑company transactions, payroll accruals, and cost coding processes. Expense Tracking – Monitor prepaid expenses and allocate costs appropriately across reporting periods. Bank Reconciliations & Compliance – Review reconciliations, sales tax filings, commissions, accruals, and month‑end close activities. Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and financial workflows. Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with operational teams and leadership to support business objectives and financial decision‑making. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes. Experience with accounting software and financial management systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. Strong communication skills and professionalism in a fast‑paced environment. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis preferred.
