Senior Quality Assurance Manager

Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Manager Location: Aiken, South Carolina Type: Contract Compensation: Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 40.0 Security Clearance: Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage Quality Managers, Quality Engineers, and administrative support staff. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development of the quality team. Manage workload distribution, performance appraisals, conflict resolution, and employee recognition in alignment with company policies and legal regulations. Establish, track, and report measurable quality metrics and goals to executive leadership. Capture and analyze institutional lessons learned to integrate into company-wide best practices. Maintain and safeguard corporate code compliance and formal certification programs. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and code requirements for internal teams and contractors. Ensure all active personnel possess necessary quality plans, procedures, and certifications. Conduct regular jobsite audits to verify compliance with corporate policies and project guidelines. Travel to regional offices, client sites, subcontractors, and suppliers to support project execution and oversight. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related technical field. 10–15 years of progressive quality management experience, specifically overseeing large-scale, complex projects. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% to various corporate, subsidiary, and project locations.
