Position: Cath Lab Technician

Shift Notes

4-10 hour shifts, varied weekdays,
0630-1700.
Call varies weekdays 1700-0630 and
weekends 0630-0630.
40 hours per week

Location:Henderson, NV, 89052

Job Type: 13 weeks

ACLS, ARRT, BLS

Start date: 05/19/2025

Pay: $60-$65 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Cath lab experience at least within the last 2 years is a must. Proficiency in interpreting E.K.G, intra aortic balloon pump, imeplla.
-will take someone who is RCIS certified or ARRT (R) and NV Rad License

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist / Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.

Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff.

Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications / EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Requires previous experience assisting with scrubbing procedures and monitoring data, preferably in a Cardiovascular Lab.

2. Cardiovascular technician training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.

3. Must be a radiology technician AART-R is required

4. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.

5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required.

6. Proficient computer skills.
