About the Role Join Our Team as an Emergency Veterinary Technician at VEC Sarasota! Key Responsibilities Communicate effectively with clients and staff. Safely lift objects or pets of at least 50lbs. Work with or without direct supervision. Restrain and control cats and dogs of any temperament. Recognize concerning behaviors in pets. Make conversions and calculations. Adapt to different needs and preferences of doctors. Maintain strong organizational skills. Understand hospital procedures and operating instructions. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of ER experience or 5 years of general practice experience. Licensed or unlicensed technician. Cultural fit is a priority over skill. Compensation and Benefits Salary: $20.00–$26.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and credentialing).
