The Radio Frequency Components (RFC) semiconductor facility operates 24/7 to deliver high-quality products that support the aerospace and defense industries. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Value Stream Lead to oversee and manage the semiconductor Front-End Value Stream at our Andover site. As a senior leader, you will drive operational excellence, ensure timely delivery of high-quality products, lead cross-functional teams, and manage end-to-end processes within the value stream to meet customer requirements. This individual will have full management accountability in a fast paced and dynamic environment to meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements in a multi-cell/multi-shift operation. What You Will Do Lead all aspects of the semiconductor front-end value stream, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives, customer commitments, and operational targets. Develop and execute production schedules, capacity planning, workforce planning, and resource allocation to meet demand while optimizing productivity and costs. Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, including operators, engineers, and technical support staff. Foster collaboration and accountability across the team. Identify and implement Lean principles, CORE methodologies, and other best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external customer requirements. Work closely with engineering, production control, quality, and other cross business teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and drive innovation within the value stream. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including safety, on-time delivery, yield, cycle time, cost performance, COPQ, and customer satisfaction. Identify and mitigate risks related to production schedules, yield issues, and technical challenges. Serve as the primary interface with internal NHA customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment on expectations. Lead the team through a period of rapid growth, process migration and new capital release to production. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and 10 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience. Prior Management or Leadership experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Production, and/or Quality. Qualifications We Prefer Experience working with aerospace and defense industry standards or customers. Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives. Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar value streams successfully. Expertise in front-end semiconductor manufacturing processes Proficient in data analysis tools, ERP/MRP systems, and production planning software. Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
