Cedarville University is seeking to hire an experienced HVAC Technician. Duties include preventive maintenance and repair of a wide range of heating, ventilation, cooling and refrigeration equipment. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Director of Facility Maintenance.


Position Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or GED
• At least three years experience in a commercial HVAC environment
• Experience with tools and equipment common in the industry
• Posses a valid Ohio driver's license

Physical requirements:

• Ability to lift or carry objects up to 100 pounds on occasion with routine lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate drills, saws and other power tools
• Ability to bend, climb and crawl into small spaces.
• This position is routinely exposed to heat, cold, moisture, noise and light chemical substances related to duties.
• This position serves on an on-call rotation for emergency services.
