Compensation:

Average Weekly Pay: $1,875+

Miles Pay: 71.5 CPM with 1,650 miles per week

Additional pay:

Stops Pay: $24.00 per Stop with 20 Stops per Week

Per Diem Pay: $70.00 per night out

Regional nights out 2 - 3

Ryder will buy your truck if you’re looking to switch from Owner Operator to a Company Employee Driver

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

Home Time: Home multiple days weekly, including weekends

2-3 nights out per week

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Start times: 2:00 AM - 4:00 AM

Route:

CT, MA, ME, RI, MD, VA, NY and NJ (including 5 boroughs)

Overnight for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel

Touch – Hardware Products

Manual and Electric Pallet Jack

Equipment:

Trucks are 36 months or newer

Trailer Type: Dry Van, 42 - 53

24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide

Qualifications

Must have a valid CDL A License

Minimum 21 years of age

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

Hazmat - Within 90 Days of Hire

Ryder will Reimburse Cost and Provide Training to Obtain Endorsements

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Must live within 30 miles of Wilkes Barre, PA
