Business Analyst

Business AnalystLocation: 2 BROADWAY, NEW YORK, POSITION WILL ALSO BE PARTLY REMOTE (2-3 DAYS REMOTE, 2-3 DAYS ON SITE AT 2 BROADWAY)Duration: 12 months (Avg. 35-40 hours per week based on SME availability for meetings and other requirements)Qualifications Experience & Education• 3+ years of experience in roles involving project coordination, process improvement, or business/data analysis• Demonstrated experience working in large, complex or matrixed organizations• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite, including:SharePoint (site creation, document libraries, access control)Teams (channel structure, file management)OneDrive, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Outlook• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, data cleaning) and Power BI (dashboards, data visualization)• Process mapping skills like Visio• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and time management skills• Experience working with HR, operations, transformation, or shared services teams• Familiarity with PeopleSoft, Workday, or ERP/HRIS systems• Exposure to project/task management tools• Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)• Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint version 2010 or higher• Familiarity with Microsoft Project version 2010 or higher• Excellent inter-personal skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization• Strong analytical and problem solving skills• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment• Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment; a self-starter• Familiarity with creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and documenting key process requirements and can produce sample work upon request to the MTA
