Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

RPh on the Go is seeking a Retail Staff Pharmacist for a 12-week contract assignment with  hospital owned community pharmacy in Buckeye, West Virginia . This is a special opportunity to not only be a part of a hometown pharmacy but to be a part of the Pharm Stand crew and see our customers smile in our giftshop with a sweet treat in hand. 

Schedule

12-Week Contract | Approximately 20 Hours Per Week

Preferred Schedule: Tuesday & Wednesday (Flexible)

7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (30-minute lunch)

Job Responsibilities

Oversee daily retail pharmacy operations and supervise pharmacy technicians.

Verify, dispense, and ensure the safe and accurate distribution of medications.

Manage retail pharmacy inventory, medication stock, and formulary.

Maintain compliance with controlled substance handling and documentation requirements.

Oversee 340B program administration and compliance.

Manage pharmacy billing, claims processing, and reconciliation.

Utilize and maintain pharmacy and EHR systems (training provided).

Support operational workflow and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Administer immunizations.

Provide outstanding customer service and patient counseling.

Requirements

Active and clear West Virginia Pharmacist license.

Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (PharmD preferred but not required).

Current CPR certification.

Active Immunization Certification.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
