Job Opportunity: OBGYN Physician

Our organization, a leading provider of obstetrics and gynecology services across Missouri and Southern Illinois, operates 39 practices and 17 locations, with plans for further expansion. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and have partnered with Advantia Health to enhance our services. Our focus is on offering personalized healthcare for women at every stage of life. We also feature a patient support center that operates seven days a week with extended hours, making scheduling easier and providing clinical resources, including access to a nurse for any concerns. We are seeking an OBGYN Physician to join our teams in Mt. Vernon and Shiloh, Illinois. The ideal candidate will be adept at providing a comprehensive range of obstetric and gynecological services, including routine well-woman care, labor and delivery, and hospital-based surgeries, catering to a diverse patient demographic.

• Oversee and manage patient care throughout pregnancy and childbirth, including prenatal counseling, delivery, and postnatal follow-up, often in collaboration with midwives.
• Conduct follow-up appointments to monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Provide guidance on safe sex practices and preventive healthcare measures.
• Order and interpret necessary tests, screenings, biopsies, and scans to accurately diagnose medical issues.
• Lead and mentor medical staff, including nurses and physician assistants, on appropriate procedures and protocols.
• Maintain a strong track record of delivering high-quality women's health care, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and treating gynecological and obstetrical conditions with a compassionate approach.
• Ensure efficient patient flow in a busy outpatient clinic, accommodating both scheduled and same-day appointments.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers and team members.
• Provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population, considering socio-economic, ethnic, and linguistic factors.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying updated on current medical practices through journals, conferences, and other educational opportunities.

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
• Current and valid medical license with board certification.
• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or private practice setting.
• Proficient in patient charting and familiar with relevant electronic health record systems.
