$20,000 Sign‑On Bonus Facility: Baylor Scott & White Health Round Rock – Round Rock Medical Center Department: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Status: Full Time, 3 x 12’s Shift/Schedule: Night Shift, 6:45 pm – 7:15 am Job Overview Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurses (RN) play a pivotal role within Baylor Scott & White Round Rock Medical Center. The CVICU RNs care for both CVICU patients and ICU patients on the 26‑bed mixed acuity unit with 6 dedicated CVICU beds, focusing primarily on cardiovascular intensive care patients. Typical nurse‑to‑patient ratios are 1:1 for high‑acuity patients, 1:2 for general ICU patients, and 1:3 for intermediate care (IMC) patients. The unit handles a mix of Medical ICU (MICU) and CVICU patients. Successful RN candidates should have at least one year of CVICU RN experience, with two years preferred. Requirements Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program. Minimum one year of CVICU RN experience; two years of ICU RN experience preferred. Valid RN license / certification.
