ACCOUNTS PAYABLE- HEAVY DUTY TRUCK DEALERSHIP

Benefits Health / Dental 401(k) plan Competitive Pay Stable locally owned employer PTO and Vacation Days Training on site Fantastic Culture and Work Environment Responsibilities Riverview has an immediate opening for accounts payable and other dealership accounting functions. The applicant works with the Controller/Office Manager to manage financial assets by monitoring accounting activities across multiple reporting systems and ensuring vendor partners are paid on time and correctly. The role involves high‑volume invoice processing and includes learning the full dealership accounting process, serving as a backup to team members. Assists the Controller with enforcing internal controls, monitoring accounting schedules, and helps with internal and external audits. Provides excellent customer service and responds to customer and vendor administrative needs upon request. Responsible for paying vendors on time and correctly. Plays a key role in training employees as directed by the Controller. Protects operations by keeping financial information, employee and owner data, payroll records, and operational plans confidential. Works in the business system to post invoices, post history to vehicles and reconcile vendor statements. Processes expense reports monthly. Helps close each month correctly and completely with accurate information. Qualifications Five or more years of accounting experience in the truck or automotive industries preferred, including interpreting schedules, managing assets, processing depreciation and amortization entries, reconciling cash accounts, creating and proofreading complex journal entries, posting accruals, and processing accounts payable and receivable. Excellent computer skills, particularly advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook. CDK Global dealership DMS experience or other DMS experience desirable. Yooz invoice processing experience a plus. Patient and gentle attitude, coaching other PC users with a positive and affirming attitude, troubleshooting tier 1 user errors, and escalating higher issues to technical support resources. Extremely conscientious, organized, and detail-oriented personality. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Easily adaptable to change and unafraid to learn new ways to accomplish goals. Willing and able to work a 40‑hour week and be reliable.
