Duties

Help

As a Financial Management Specialist, you will:

• Analyze financial and contract data and develops reports, dashboards, and information products to support budget administration and management decisions.
• Design and maintain financial analysis tools and reporting solutions that support budget and contract management activities.
• Review budget formulation and execution processes and recommends improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Advise management on financial data management, reporting technologies, and modernization initiatives supporting organizational objectives.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications : You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:

• Analyzing financial data to support organizational decision-making
• Developing financial analysis tools for budget administration
• Evaluating financial processes to improve operational efficiency
• Providing technical advice on financial information systems

If such experience is on a part-time basis, you must provide the average number of hours worked per week as well as the beginning and ending dates of the experience so it can be fully credited.
