What You Will Be Doing

• Carrying out thorough patient assessments, ordering pivotal diagnostic tests, and crafting tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either independently or alongside physicians, depending on your credentials
• Informing and advising patients and their families on wellness, preventive measures, and effective disease management strategies

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure them within 90 days)
