Accountant

The Accountant will work closely with the CFO, Controller, and the rest of the management team. Responsibilities Assist with Accounts payable & receivables. Ensure all records are kept accurate and are available for internal and external review and compliance. Filing and renaming documents for audit/billing support. Assist with other assigned tasks by other peers and managers. Must be proactive and have strong communication skills. Ability to learn complex accounting systems (Deltek CostPoint). Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve, and demonstrate professionalism and a positive work ethic. Intermediate to Expert Excel skills. Job Requirements BS or BA degree in Accounting or Business. Must be detail-oriented and able to work under pressure. Strong communication skills for interfacing with co-workers, peers, management, project managers, and customers. Ability to prioritize work and meet any sudden deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be available to work additional hours when needed during the month-end close or if any special projects are assigned.
