HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Missouri.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

· Number of Beds : 23

· Patient Ratios : 1:4, 1:5

· Type of equipment : traction, fixators, cooling equipment

· Documentation system: Meditech

· Scheduling requirements: 3 12s, 3 weekend shifts per schedule period

· Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float. Would float to the other Med Surg level of care units (General MS, Nephrology, Neuro/Trauma)

· Patient Experience requirements: Bedside shift report, hourly rounding

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center

Advanced skills needed: Ortho experience, Tele, NIH Procedures performed on unit: Post op knee, hip and shoulder replacements, Trauma patients, some Neuro overflow – NIH is helpful
