Location: Valencia, CA
Shifts: 2nd Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, (3:00pm - 11:30pm) (Training on 1st shift M-F for the first couple weeks of training then move to 2nd shift)

Seeking a skilled Small O.D. Grinder to operate conventional (manual) grinding equipment to grind external diameters on aerospace landing gear components. The ideal candidate can interpret engineering drawings, maintain tight tolerances, and consistently meet quality and safety standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Seeking a skilled Small O.D. Grinder to operate conventional (manual) grinding equipment to grind external diameters on aerospace landing gear components. The ideal candidate can interpret engineering drawings, maintain tight tolerances, and consistently meet quality and safety standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Set up and operate conventional grinders for small outside diameter (O.D.) grinding
- Read and interpret drawings, travelers, and work orders
- Measure finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
- Select tooling, feeds, speeds, and depths of cut
- Monitor and adjust grinding operations for accuracy and efficiency
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area
- Complete job travelers, inspection reports, and time documentation
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (ITAR)
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of experience operating conventional grinders
- Strong understanding of grinding green and plated components
- Blueprint and tech sheet reading skills
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Aerospace MRO experience
- Experience with additional manual machines (mill, lathe)
