Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

07:00 - 19:30, 3x12 hours weekly, guaranteed 36 hours.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of medical conditions. This role involves managing patient care, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Provide direct patient care and establish a therapeutic relationship with patients and families.

Monitor and interpret telemetry data, managing patients with cardiac conditions.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.

Document care and patient status accurately in the electronic health record.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient care and outcomes.

Prepare patients for surgical procedures and assist in recovery.

Current RN license.

ACLS certification is required.

A minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in a telemetry unit.

Experience managing a 6:1 patient ratio.

Travel nursing experience is preferred.
