Regular Full Time Service Workers Snowden River, Columbia, MD, US Salary Range: $17.25 To $17.25 Hourly Full-time Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake is hiring a Production Lead to help guide daily production operations in a retail store environment. This role works closely with the Store Manager to ensure production goals, quality standards, and team performance expectations are met. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone ready to take the next step into a lead role. What You’ll Do Support the Store Manager in planning and organizing daily production operations Lead and motivate associates to meet individual and team production goals Provide hands-on training and coaching to new and existing team members Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and adjust priorities throughout the day Ensure merchandise is processed efficiently and meets quality standards Track production metrics andcommunicateresults to leadership Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment Assistwith inventory control and loss prevention efforts Perform opening and closing duties as assigned Provide excellent customer service when interacting with donors and shoppers Uphold Goodwill’s mission and values in all interactions Schedule & Availability Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) isrequired Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and holidays Reliable transportationrequiredfor each scheduled shift What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (required) One year of supervisory experience in retail or a related environmentOR one year of experience in a Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake associate roleORone yearcombination of both Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills Ability to communicate clearly and lead a team in a fast-paced setting Comfort using basic computer systems and POS tools Supervision Assistswith supervising retail store employees on shift Typically leads4-12 full- and part-time associatesper shift Employees supervised work in the same location Physical Requirements Lift up to 50lbs(frequent lifting up to 25lbs) Stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands throughout shift Medium physical demand work environment Reasonableaccommodationsmay be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
