Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 16-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of California
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
