About the Role Production Worker – You will work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, operating equipment, assembling parts, inspecting products, and maintaining a safe and efficient workplace. Location & Schedule Location: New Britain, CT Shift: Part time Schedule: Monday to Friday 11:00 am – 3:00 pm Responsibilities Run production equipment such as presses, cutters, conveyors, or assembly tools while following safety and quality standards. Put together parts or components using hand tools, power tools, or automated systems. Check products for defects, ensuring items meet specifications before packaging. Load raw materials, move finished goods, and restock supplies using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified). Pack items securely, apply labels, and prepare products for shipping or storage. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support safety and efficiency. Use PPE, follow OSHA guidelines, and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues. Log output counts, downtime, material usage, or quality checks in production systems or paper logs. Day in the Life Start your shift by setting up your station, organizing supplies, reviewing workflow, and preparing equipment. Rotate between tasks such as portioning materials, sealing containers, labeling boxes, and stacking finished products on pallets. Remain alert and efficient while staying on your feet in a fast‑paced environment. Maintain safety and cleanliness: wipe surfaces, follow food‑safe handling procedures when required, and keep everything neat and compliant. Collaborate with teammates and communicate to meet daily goals. What You’ll Need To Be Successful No experience required; strong willingness to learn new skills. Ability to follow instructions carefully and ensure products are packaged accurately. Understanding of safety procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a clean work environment.
