Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year (Starting base range)

Job Description & Overview:

We aren't looking for order processors or passive service reps, we are looking for competitive account drivers. In this role, product and industry knowledge isn't just nice to have; it is your ultimate tool to maximize relationship-driven sales, win high-value opportunities, and outperform the competition. You won't just respond to quotes, you will own them. You will analyze account histories, spot untapped margin opportunities, and turn routine RFQs into profitable, long-term business. We will give you complete, hands-on training on our specialty metals, supply chains, and strategies. Your job is to take that knowledge, run with it, and relentlessly grow our sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

● Aggressive Margin & Revenue Growth: Leverage market trends, historical data, and pricing intelligence to calculate competitive, high-margin quotes that protect profitability while winning deals

● Proactive Account Penetration: Dig into CRM account histories to identify hidden buying signals, re-engage cold accounts, and capture a larger share of opportunities across your assigned book of business

● Consultative Commercial Strategy: Master the technical details of specialty metals, product specifications, and end-use applications to position Dover as the irreplaceable supplier and out-negotiate competitors

● High-Speed RFQ Execution: Treat inbound customer RFQs with urgency, rapidly converting requests into precise, profitable quotes before the competition even responds

● Precision Execution & Quality Protection: Maintain absolute accuracy when calculating

linear footage, material weights, and processing upcharges—ensuring high-value

material specs are flawless to protect contract value and provide customer peace of

mind

● Cross-Functional Deal Flow: Collaborate closely with operations and warehouse teams

to solve logistical roadblocks and keep deals moving across the finish line

Qualifications:

● Competitive Drive: A relentless desire to win, hit revenue goals, and out-execute the

market

● Commercial Sharpness: High numerical aptitude (daily use of fractions, decimals, and

conversions) coupled with a sharp eye for pricing and margin dynamics

● Meticulous Precision: An "editor's eye" that catches administrative or technical

mismatches before they hit production, protecting margins and customer trust

● Persuasive Communication: Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to

build immediate rapport, negotiate effectively, and drive action over email and phone
