We are looking for a highly experienced SaaS Architect with a strong consulting background and expertise in cloud migration, including on-premises to-cloud and cloud-to-cloud transitions, especially for Software Product companies.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in advising clients on best practices, designing tailored cloud architectures, and leading complex migration projects for enterprise-level SaaS applications. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency and consulting expertise to guide clients through digital transformation journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead consulting engagements with clients, assessing their current infrastructure and providing expert advice on cloud migration strategies (on-prem to cloud and cloud-to-cloud) especially for Software Product companies.
• Architect and design customized cloud solutions to meet clients' business needs, focusing on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, including technical teams, management, and business leaders, to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Guide clients through the entire migration lifecycle—from initial assessment, design, and planning through implementation, migration, and post-migration optimization.
• Design cloud-native architectures, leveraging microservices, containers (Kubernetes, Docker), serverless technologies, and hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Provide expert recommendations on cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), tools, and technologies best suited to clients' needs.
• Establish cloud governance frameworks, ensuring best practices for security, compliance, disaster recovery, and operational efficiency are followed throughout and post-migration.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to client teams to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing cloud management.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, innovations, and technologies in the cloud space, advising clients on how to leverage new advancements.
• Develop comprehensive migration roadmaps that minimize risk, downtime, and ensure successful transitions.

Key Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software architecture and engineering, with at least 5+ years of cloud architecture and SaaS solutions experience in a consulting capacity.
• Proven success in leading cloud migration projects (on-prem to cloud and cloud-to-cloud) across various industries, with a strong consulting background.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP, and their respective services, tools, and best practices.
• Experience in advising clients on cloud-native architectures, including microservices, containers, serverless computing, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments, including multi-cloud strategies.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Architect are preferred.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation within cloud environments.
• Ability to travel to client locations as required (if necessary).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with data migration tools and technologies (e.g., AWS DataSync, Azure Migrate, etc.).
• Legacy system modernization expertise, including advising clients on refactoring applications for cloud-native environments.
• Strong client-facing communication skills, with experience leading workshops, presenting migration strategies, and handling client inquiries and concerns.
• Experience working with consulting firms or advisory roles for enterprise clients is highly desirable.
