JOB DESCRIPTION

TCI Agencies is hiring a Senior Commercial Lines Insurance Sales Representative in Scottsdale, AZ. You'll build and manage your own book of commercial insurance business (prospecting, quoting, binding, and servicing) with dedicated account management support behind you as you grow, working alongside agency leadership with input on how the agency grows and how your role evolves with it.

You sell with service support behind you. Our dedicated, licensed account manager handles a growing share of the day-to-day service work, so more of your hours go toward building your book and your income

Your work directly impacts the agency's direction and results. This is not a role where you disappear into a hierarchy

We are building our own technology and AI tools to make sales and servicing more efficient, and you will be part of shaping how that works

First-year on-target earnings of $70,000 to $80,000 including commissions, with a competitive base salary depending on experience - the more we win, the more you win

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new commercial lines accounts through cold outreach, networking, referrals, inbound leads, and community involvement
• Manage the full sales cycle from discovery meetings through policy analysis, quoting, presentations, and binding
• Handle servicing on your own accounts during your ramp (certificates, endorsements, renewals, claims advocacy), with support from our dedicated account manager, who takes on more of the day-to-day service work as your book grows. Over time your role shifts steadily toward production and relationship management
• Build and maintain relationships with carrier underwriters and agency partners to get the most competitive terms for your clients
• Work directly with agency leadership on strategy, market development, and growing TCIA's presence in and ability to serve the Scottsdale and greater Phoenix commercial markets

Requirements

• Active Arizona Property and Casualty license, or the ability to transfer or obtain a reciprocal license promptly
• 4+ years of commercial lines insurance sales experience with a track record of new business production
• Strong preference given to candidates with experience in the auto dealership or auto retail space, whether relating to insurance or not
• Comfortable owning both new business development and hands-on servicing of your own accounts during your ramp. You'll have dedicated service support, but you stay close to your clients
• Self-directed and comfortable in an agile, fast-moving environment where you create your own processes and take ownership of results
• Working knowledge of commercial coverages including BOP, general liability, workers compensation, commercial auto, and umbrella
