Lab Manager (CMT/Soils)

NC - Charlotte, Charlotte, NC 28217, 417 Minuet Lane, Suite D, Charlotte, NC 28217, USA NOVA Engineering is currently seeking a highly skilled CMT L Laboratory Manager to join our team in Charlotte, NC . The Lab Manager will manage the lab's production and personnel and provide quality assurance/quality control lab testing duties for commercial, retail, educational, low‑to‑high‑rise, manufacturing, and government construction projects. Essential Functions Performing specific QA/QC tests on construction materials and building components such as soil, concrete, and asphalt, per ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, etc. standards. Maintain detailed records of observations, inspections, and test results. Organizing lab data, processing, and report preparation. Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment and workspaces. Manage lab personnel and maintain required certifications among the laboratory team.
