We are looking to expand our civil litigation defense team!Practice areas include insurance defense, construction law, trucking and transportation law, products liability, professional licensing, medical malpractice, premises and professional liability. Seeking a highly motivated associate attorney with litigation experience is preferred and but not limited to the following: Licensed with the state of South Carolina and in good standing, with no disciplinary issues Prior civil defense experience, particularly in commercial transportation litigation or governmental defense cases, is preferred Able to independently manage a caseload Able to take depositions, argue motions, and prepare cases for trial Strong academic qualifications and knowledge of legal precedents Excellent communication skills and a high level of organization Commitment to client satisfaction and communication Able to vigorously advocate for our clients’ goals while maintaining a strong commitment to professionalism, ethics and civility Practice in both state and federal courts, in areas spanning from torts to constitutional law Able to conduct research and analyze legal matters Oversee and manage paralegal and legal assistant work product Have strong computer skills and proficient in Office 365 The McKay Firm, P.A. benefit package includes: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance 401K plan and match after 12 months of employment Additional voluntary benefits available through Colonial Life Employer paid Life Insurance of $25,000 Employer paid Long-term Disability Full-time salary position with bonus potential If interested, please forward your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io Please create the subject line re: “McKay Attorney” #J-18808-Ljbffr THE MCKAY FIRM, P.A
