Ocean Beauty Seafoods Renton Distribution is in search of a Sales and Billing Support person. You would perform a range of administrative tasks to support the sales department. Answering customer phone calls, dealing with customer service inquiries, arranging sales appointments, providing information to the sales team, creating and processing sales orders, managing customer accounts and performing data entry tasks. Acts as a backup to sales when sales rep is out of the office. Additional billing tasks include entering daily shipping and billing documents into computing system, processing invoices for assigned shift, while providing support to sales, operations and accounting staff. Pay starting between $23.00-$25.00 per hour.

Essential duties include maintaining a thorough knowledge of all sales functions, assisting in daily work activity of sales staff, processing orders by telephone, email or mail, checking orders to include the correct prices, discounts and product numbers and enter them into the DAX system, managing the correspondence between the sales team and their clients, contacting customers daily to promote our products, and performing the services necessary to maintain customer satisfaction, including delivering product as required. Also includes providing data and reports to help the sales team, providing product, promotion, and pricing information, resolving order and inventory problems, running reports, writing and maintaining customer price lists, forwarding samples, coordinating all functions as sales expediter with the Shipping Department, maintaining proper paperwork flow with credits and samples, responding to changes productively and handling other duties as required, following all company safety policies and procedures, printing orders and pick sheets and distributing to supervisor in a timely manner, accurately entering picked and packed quantities into computer, checking for reasonability, accurately invoicing orders and verifying invoicing against dispatch screen to ensure all shift route orders are invoiced with 100% accuracy, properly preparing and attaching shipping documentation for overnight air shippers, and ensuring all boxes are tagged and accounted for prior to shipment, and interacting with sales & customers and must look and act professional at all times.

Requirements include being a resourceful, detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent negotiation and organizational skills, and sound judgment, communicating well orally, in writing or interpersonally, prioritizing tasks, handling constant interruption from telephones and staff, and remaining flexible to meet changing priorities on a daily basis, following through on tasks to completion and adapting well to change, communicating and interacting well with others in an often stressful environment, and working well under deadlines.
