Payroll Manager at Ledgent Finance & Accounting in Los Angeles, California

Payroll ManagerA large professional services firm located in downtown Los Angeles is looking for a Payroll Manager on a hybrid schedule. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll, reconciling payroll accounts, handling payroll reporting and audits, reviewing payroll taxes, managing employee status changes, and compliance. Additional duties for the Payroll Manager include additional payroll responsibilities such as bonuses, garnishments, enhancing payroll controls, payroll entries, payroll reporting, and account reconciliation. The Payroll Manager will also assist with month-end and collaborate with various business partners and corporate personnel.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related discipline is preferred.At least seven years of payroll experience, with at least two in a management capacity, is required.Professional services industry experience is also required.Must have very good time management, analytical, and communication skills.ADP Workforce Now and MS Office (Word, Excel) skills are needed.Pay, $130,000 - 155,000.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
