Position Summary Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Burlington, NJ. The role offers weekly pay, a range of benefits, and a driving career with no weekend shifts. Pay and Schedule Weekly pay: $1,294 or more per week Solo miles: $0.62 per mile with 1,100–1,300 miles per week Solo stops: $15.00 per stop with 30 stops per week Per diem: $50.00 per night (2–4 nights per week) Overnight stipend for Ryder‑booked hotel Paid training Schedule: Monday – Friday, no weekends Start time: 3:00 – 5:00 a.m. dispatch Route & Vehicle Deliver SOLO to: NY, CT, RI, NH, MA Route: Regional Tractor: Box truck 26' or sleeper Trailer: Dry Van, 53' Freight: Touch‑Screen Doors and Hardware Benefits Medical, dental & vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO first year, starting day 1 (use it or get paid) Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided Driver autonomy and job protection 401(k) rollover available with company match after 1 year 12‑week paid maternity leave (eligibility depends on tenure) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more Truck Maintenance Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and company drivers fuel the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide. Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Pass a Ryder drug test Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years) Pass a DOT physical Pass a Ryder road test Provide a valid CDL and endorsements for the position Class A verifiable experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures Additional Screening Some positions may require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, a road test, or badging or background requirements of the customer to whom you are assigned.
