Position Highlights & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a broad range of acute and chronic conditions, conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop patient management plans.
• Collaborate within a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) including an RN care manager, LPN, clinical pharmacist, psychologists, and social workers to deliver coordinated, wrap-around care.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and other learners, fostering the next generation of clinicians.
• Work in a system that provides seamless access to social work, travel assistance, housing, and pharmacy services without the hassles of pre-authorizations or multiple formularies.
• Choose to work at the main facility with a large academic-center feel, or one of our small community clinics. Enjoy the collegiality and patient-centered focus of a small clinic, backed by the resources and stability of the VA's comprehensive healthcare network.
• Utilize an interoperable electronic health record (EHR) that connects seamlessly with the Department of Defense and other federal partners, enhanced with advanced technology-including AI tools-to support high-quality, efficient day-to-day patient care and enable robust population-level health analysis.
