Position Summary:

The Purchasing, Shipping and Receiving Coordinator works directly with the Purchasing Manager and other staff to coordinate the timely procurement and receiving of project materials and timely shipment of completed projects to the customer. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized and has great attention to detail.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
• Accurately prepare and package outgoing shipments
• Maintain organized records of shipments and deliveries
• Use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word) for documentation
• Lift and move packages up to 50 lbs
• Collaborate with other departments for timely order fulfillment
• Assist with inventory tracking and procurement and operate as procurement backup support as needed

Qualifications Desired:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Strong reliability and work ethic
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Preferred:

· Prior purchasing/shipping/receiving experience

• Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; lift and carry items up to 50 pounds; climb stairs; balance; stoop and/or kneel.

Work Environment:

• · While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be onsite. The noise level in the work environment can be minimal to high. Safe work practices are always required in accordance with OSHA regulations, Addtronics, LLC safety protocols, and customer safety protocols.

Position Classification

• This is a full-time, hourly position. Depending on the needs of the business, the ability to work more than 40 hours/week and/or weekends may be required.
