Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.**Job Responsibilities:**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Some of the physical demands for this position include the ability to lift 40 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods of time, and occasional bending and stooping.EQUIPMENT / TOOLS USED:Some of the equipment and tools used are: Mig, Tig and Arc welding machines, Hand tools, Oxy/Acy cutting torch, Air GrindersKNOWLEDGEEDUCATION:· High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year Associates Degree from accredited technical college is preferred, or equivalent experience· One to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.TECHNICAL TRAINING: Mig/ Tig / Arc WeldingOTHER: Welding courses, Computer skills; Basic Microsoft Word and ExcelWORK EXPERIENCE-Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills- Small machining skillsNew Hire Orientation, OSHA Required Training, Product and Process Overview, Understanding the Charter, Machine-specific training, 5S and TPM.Performance Assessment conducted by Supervisor and/or Department ManagerThe Welder/Fabricator will be responsible to assist and help repair production dies, fabricating tools, jigs and fixtures for the production areas to meet our customer production requirements.OTHER PERTINANT OR RELEVANT INFORMATIONThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
