Director of Finance Strategy

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a hospitality organization to identify a Director of Finance Strategy in Dallas, TX. This role is fully onsite and will partner closely with executive leadership to drive financial planning, operational analytics, and strategic decision-making across a growing multi-unit organization. This position is ideal for a highly analytical finance professional who enjoys building sophisticated financial models, partnering with operations, and influencing executive decisions through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate is ambitious, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to grow within a high-performance organization. Required: 8+ years of progressive FP&A, operational finance, or strategic finance experience within the restaurant industry Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis experience supporting executive decision-making Strong understanding of multi-unit restaurant operations, including labor, food costs, pricing, four-wall EBITDA, and unit economics Experience developing executive-level presentations, business cases, and performance reporting for senior leadership Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Preferred: Experience in private equity-backed, high-growth, or pre-IPO organizations MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced finance credentials Experience evaluating new unit development, capital investments, and long-range strategic planning Strong proficiency with financial systems, business intelligence tools, and process automation Collaborative leadership style with exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders If you're looking for an opportunity to play a strategic role in a rapidly growing, multi-unit organization while partnering directly with executive leadership to shape financial strategy and operational performance, we'd love to connect.
