Family Medicine Physician Opportunity

Sanford Clinic Luverne is seeking a board eligible/board certified family medicine physician. This position offers 0.75 FTE with three clinic days and hospital call for Luverne, approximately four days of call per month or two days per pay period. The practice includes seven family practice MDs, three advanced practice providers, and one general surgeon. The average patient load is 20-25 patients per day. The hospital and surgical departments are robust, with additional support from behavioral health counselors, integrated health therapists, RN care managers, substance use counselors, PMHNPs, and pharmacists. Nursing home responsibilities are shared, with medical directorships available. The ER is staffed by Status Health, and surgical emergencies are handled by an on-call general surgeon provider or transported to Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD, depending on severity.

Sanford Health offers a nationally competitive compensation plan with a physician benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K plan, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, CME allowance, allowed time away, malpractice insurance, and a relocation allowance. The annual compensation floor range (based on 1.0 FTE) is $265,175 - $343,168, with potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs. Additional incentives may be offered. Actual compensation offers may vary and are determined based on multiple factors including education, training, certification, experience, scope of practice, and actual job requirements.
