PET/CT & Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:0016:30 or 8:3017:00 (8-hour shifts). Optional 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks. One evening shift and one Saturday per month; federal holidays off; no on-call.

Assignment Details: Caseload: approximately 33 PET/CT scans per day.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in PET/CT and general nuclear medicine in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• IV starts and PACS experience required.
• Required certifications/licenses: BLS, ARRT (R or N) or NMTCB, and a state license.
• Key clinical skills include PET/CT imaging (whole-body FDG, brain, cardiac, neuroendocrine), IV starts, pharmacologic stress (adenosine, persantine), and experience with PACS and Siemens equipment.
• Charting experience with Epic.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT imaging and related procedures on patients.
• Administer and monitor IV medications as per protocols.
• Ensure safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine and PET/CT technologies.

Immediate completion of Ohio fingerprinting required after booking; strict compliance deadline applies. RTO must be included with submission. Two professional references are necessary, with at least one being a manager or director. COVID-19 vaccination not required, but flu vaccination is required (medical exemptions only).
