About the Program Rosendin's Summer Internship Program is a paid 12 week hands-on experience designed for students ready to take the next step in their professional journey. You'll gain exposure to the electrical construction industry by working on real projects alongside experienced professionals across areas such as: Project Management Engineering BIM (Building Information Modeling) Estimating & Preconstruction Procurement & Supply Chain Apply classroom learning while exploring career paths and taking on meaningful responsibilities alongside industry leaders. What You'll Do As an Engineering Intern, you may: Assist engineers with electrical system design activities, including power, lighting, and auxiliary systems. Support the preparation and review of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Assist with basic electrical calculations, engineering analyses, and project-related deliverables. Participate in project meetings and collaborate with engineering and construction teams. Support field visits and site observations to gain exposure to project execution and existing electrical systems. Learn and utilize industry software, tools, and engineering best practices while providing administrative and technical support to the engineering team. Activities include sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Noise level is typically low to medium. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
