Opportunity Physician (MD) - Pediatrics - Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Pediatrics - Critical Care Medicine Job Details On-site coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Weekend on-call coverage from Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 8:00 AM Weeknight on-call coverage from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM Board certification required at minimum certified level PALS certification required Fellowship training required (minimum 2 years) Preferred skills include non-invasive and invasive ventilation management for both newborns and pediatric patients Preferred procedural skills include intubation, central line insertion, arterial line placement, UVC, UAC, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube insertion Experience with conscious and deep sedation preferred Preferred NICU experience including Level II/III nursery coverage Preferred skills include ECMO, exchange transfusions, and hemodialysis catheter placement Experience attending high-risk and routine C-sections preferred EKG and X-ray interpretation skills preferred Experience with ICP evaluation and management preferred Facility This facility is a full-service acute care hospital offering a wide range of medical and surgical services, including advanced neonatal and pediatric critical care.
