Pay: $22.00 - $26.50 per hour

Location: This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Surprise, AZ, with a consistent 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. schedule and occasional overtime available with prior approval.

Note: Candidates must have 2+ years of directly relevant accounts payable or accounting experience and be comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

• Process and accurately enter vendor invoices, primarily supporting parts and service operations.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation to ensure accurate processing.
• Create purchase orders when needed and help keep purchasing documentation organized.
• Assist with checks, ACH payments, and other electronic payment processes.
• Reconcile vendor statements and work through invoice discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain missing invoices and resolve questions professionally.
• Maintain organized accounts payable files, documentation, and paper records.
• Support month-end close activities and provide documentation for audits.
• Follow established accounting policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Partner with the Accounts Payable Lead, Controller, and dealership departments to keep payments timely and records accurate.
• Take on additional accounting and administrative responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and data-entry accuracy.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• CDK Dealership Management System experience is preferred.
• Automotive dealership or multi-location accounting experience is preferred.
